A brew day doesn’t look like a brochure. It looks like this — grain on the floor, hands in the mash, and a case of beer to show for it.
Step 1: Add the grains to the mash whilst learning why certain grains are added.
Break for a beer. Important to keep fluids up.
Step 2. Sparge to get our required wort volume.
Step 3. The Boil. This is where we add our hop additions. Learn which hops have been added and at what stage and how it affects flavour and aroma. the good stuff, going in

Step 4. Cooling of the wort using a counter flow chiller and then the transfer to fermenter.
